Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in India

Hi ,

I didnt pay for a credit card for the six months. An agent of the bank conderned had called me few days reagarding the payment.The due has doubled the principal.I asked for the settlement , they asked to pay 70% . Actually i don't have to repay the due .I am looking for further reduction in the payment.What would at the most , if don't pay anything to the bank.Please suggest me to get rid off the issue.
