Hello Sir

My Syed friend stay in US. His parents and brother stay in India. My friend's wife filed a wrong 498A case against him and his parents. My friend stay in hyderabad and she lived with him for only 7 days she went back to her parents in rajahmundry and there she filed the case since her father is working as head constable in rajahmundry police station. Since he is working there, she registered the complaint there. Is territorial jurisdiction not applicable on 498a case, can we fight on that grounds. Please help him

She is entitled to file a complaint under section 498-A the place where she is residing.
