Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
The Apex Court has laid down expeditious trial of criminal cases, particularly where accused are senior citizens ..what is apex court.how do we go ahead for speedy proceedings...We are falsely implicated in 498a and the accused are senior citizens and the husband(who is not the accused) is helping the 498a women to extort property.

File application before trial court for expediting the proceedings. If the trial court refuse, then move petition to the High court under Article 227 of the Constitution for the said purpose. Very strange that in S.498A proceedings, parents of husband are accused but husband is not accused. This indicate collusion between husband and wife. Point this out to the court.
