Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

I'm going through case of sec 498A & Dv act.

I hired a lawyer for the said cases. My lawyer convinced me that his father is a judicial officer , so he can handel the case smoothly b'cos of his father's reputation.

He took complete fees in advance but afterthat he never take any intrest in cases. Now, i decide to hire a new lawyer.

Do i need his NoC ?

What should i do if he do not give NoC.

Generally, for change of existing lawyer, a new lawyer will ask for no objection.

In case no objection is not possible, a client has a right to remove existing lawyer and appoint new lawyer.

Right to be represented by lawyer of his/her own choice is a constitutional and statutory right.
