Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hi

My brother is being harassed by my sister in law. She stays normal most of the time but she is short tempered. She gets angry on small -2 things and then she fight with my brother. She is not able to control her anger and emotions and always try to harm herself. She even threat to jump of from the flat or do anything. She is only 7 months old married to my brother. We spoke to her family members but there is no response. Her mother tried to counsel her but of no use.

Can you help us with some solution because this has happened atleast 4-5 times within 2 months. We counselled her so many times but seems to be of no use.Mybrother was a settled person and going through the financial crisis but she did these things even before all this.

She gets controlled only when my brother apologies her (even without his fault) and console her indefinately. Our only worry is if she does something wrong in the vague of anger and later family is penalised for the same. Can you suggest some alternatives.

she seems to be an egoist person. in case you finding it difficult to live with her, you may ask your brother to live with her separately. may be when the responsibilities comes on her shoulders, she improve.

On the contrary, in a situation like this, it may be required to keep her in high spirits. your family should not give her any chance to get annoyed.

You should try to understand that post marriage life of a girl is like that of a transplanted plant in a new soil.

She may need time to adjust to the new environ and situations as also the biological changes one face after marriage.

It may be in your best interest to keep her happy by all possible means by giving her due love, affection and respect. Try to understand her emotions and change your behaviour as per her needs.
