Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

Hi,

I would like to know how the law works if a person is implicated in a suicide note.

My husband was in an online relationship with a woman residing in Canada, they have never met each other. They were going strong for a 4 years after which she was out of touch for a couple of years. Then she came back again and started messaging and calling my husband. She apparently has a lot of health issues, one of them being a heart problem; so she is in the hospital quite often. She has suicidal tendencies and keeps threatening to kill herself if he doesn't talk to her. My husband has been sympathetic with her due to her condition for quite sometime but now that he wants to end it(as we recently got married) she's tried to slit her wrists. It's quite obvious that she's vying for his attention and she's making empty threats.

But i would like to know, if my husband ends the relationship somehow once and for all, and she actually kills herself and writes a note before that, with my husband's name in it saying he's responsible for her death, what will the consequences be?

Since she lives in Canada and my husband lives in India, how would the law go about in such a scenario? What can we do in such a situation? Please help.

as she is in canada and never visited india, to my mind, nothing can be done in this case and the police of india or canada may not take cognizance of this case and you both may lead a good marital life, minus the canadian.

Relax. Nothing is going to happen to your husband in any manner as both the parties have never met and live in different countries.
