Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

i married person belong to hyd. while at time of marriage the person and his family members stated that he wroking as software engineer at hyd. A.P. and he and his family members harrasing mentally and physically for addtional dowry hence i registered case against my husband and his relatives i.e my father -in- law and moter in law. but the case was registered against my husband his relatives sec.498a of i.p.c and sec.3 & 4 of D.P act.the case now coming from trail. but my question is before marriage my husband stated that he is working as software engineer at hyd. but after equire my husband working as barber at hyd. while at time of filling charge sheet by police not add sec. 420 of i.p.c. how can add section 420 of i.p.c during trail stage.
