Negotiable Instruments Act

Will cheque given towards security of loan attract the Sec.138 r/w142 applies when the accused/borrower does not pay even a single installment as agreed in the Loan Agreement?

Yes why not it has no concern . Only requirement is that cheque should have been given for legal dues

yes, security for a loan is a good consideratin; and bouncing of a cheque given towards security should attract 138.
