recovery of my money

I have given material to the customer how is of delhi having proprietoriship firm on 31/10/2006 he has given me chq dt.15/12/2006 which was made stop payment by him now against which case i can file to recover my money

1. You can file a civil suit for recovery of money.

2. File a 138 NI criminal case by giving a demand notice.

You can file 138 NI criminal case by giving notice of demand within prescribed period.

You can also file civil suit for recovery of money.

What kind of cheque has your customer given to you which has a validity for more than 6 months because your cheque is dated 15/12/2006.

Yes you can file a suit for specific performance against the customer. Had you come before you could have also filed a complaint of cheque bouncing.

Cheque returned for any reason attracts prosecution u/s.138 NI Act.In present instance you have to file Summary suit for recovery.For any other assistance contact personally.
