sir if husband and wife lives at service place away from family, and nobody lives with them, husband knows about his wife's external affair and hence husband decides to keep his wife with his own family and visits family and wife at every week end holiday..wife always talks with her lover on mobile in husband's absence, her lover comes at home in husband's absence..wife always threatens to suicide if he disclosed fact to anybody..even she threatens to kill husband also..due to this behaviour husband is not ready to keep his wife with him ..he kept her with his own family..so that he can do his office work with peace of mind....but wife is forcing husband to take her with him at service place..and if he didn't take her with him she will lodge false complaint against him and his family u/s. 498A IPC..police also found that there is no fault of in laws..the matter is between only husband and wife..and due to wife's behaviour husband is not taking her with him at service place.. in such circumstances can police register an offence u/s. 498 a ipc ?
