sir, i have come out of the husbands house, filed a domestic violence case against my husband, & his family on 2/4/12. and the dates the court had was on 16th, 29th of april, then 30th of may, and 3rd, 17th of july, all these days the court has given order to PO to submit the affidavit to my husbands house. Eventhough the given address of my hubbys house by me was right, The PO of the court has stated that the given address of me is incorrect,. now my lawyer is telling me that give me a address proof of your hubbv to submit to the court to prove that the given address of mine is true, since i am away from him, and i dnt have any proof as such. Now the court has given the next date to 14 august 2012. In this case what could be done sir.

In any case, it is very important to serve the opposite party. Till you provide the latest address of your husband and till he is served, the case may not proceed further. There is one remedy. You can request the court to permit serving him by way of publication in the newspaper.
