Legal Question in Criminal Law in India

i have submitted a complaint with DCP East Delhi office. But they say that Crime was committed in Kasturba Gandhi marg, Delhi- 110001. So, they have submitted my complaint there. I m waiting from last one week for call from DCP, Connaught place office but in vain. Kindly suggest where should I follow up for my case now.

You have to move to court of metropolitan magistrate with an application under section 156(3) to direct to investigate the complaint.

Generally, complaints are taken at police station and not by DCP. File complaint with concerned police station.
