If the father and mother are not married, can they give their child in adoption to another couple?

yes, they still can. it is like a child out of living arrangement by two adults. the child still remains legitimate and the relationship is akin to marriage. the father and mother of the child are parents of the child for all legal purposes.

Natural parents has rights to give child in adoption even if they are not married.
