Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a British citizen married for 5 year and have a daughter of 3 years i think am a victim of fraud my husband want divorce right after getting his British passport .i just came to know that he is having an affair with his ex .gf from past 3 yrs . I was in India for sometime my in laws tricked me out of India saying that he will join me later he ad his parents cut all communications am not allowed to talk to my child she is also in India .now he wants divorce so that he can remarry what cases can i file against them and i don't want to divorce him

Where did you get marry ? If India, then you can create havoc in your husband's life . You can also get the custody of your daughter. You have legal rights under the criminal , domestic violence and civil laws of India. Dont loose your cool and patience.

First of all it is necessary to know as to where you people got married. In INDIA or somewhere else?

Secondly now after the marriage have you opted for Indian citizenship.

You can make his life hell if you want and can also ask the Courts for the Custody of your child also from Court.
