claim for maintenance

the girl left her matrimonial house

on her own will and then claims for maintenance after six years, after her husband has filed a divorce case against her.

Is the boy compled to give the maintanence?

if the divorce has not taken place then he has to give maintenance to the wife, whatever the reasons were.

The answer is YES unless u can show she is working and can maintain herself. This can continue till she remarries after divorce.

Filing of divorce cae is no bar for the wife to claim maintenance. If the wlfe claim maintenance and court fix maintenance than the husband is legally bound to pay maintenance to his wife.
