Under Domestic Violence case I have filed on my husband, I have cliamed maintenance. I assume on top of mainteance he is also liable to give me rent for a house.
My question is how much time after filing the case, the court takes to order him to start giving me some monthly amount and also how much time normally is taken by court to order him to pay me the house rent per month

Usually, these proceedings should be decided on priority since payment of rent is an urgency. If properly pursued, the court may pass an appropriate order within 30 - 45 days.
as per law, the entire complaint and the reliefs mentioned there in need to be disposed off within sixty days. but normally it doesnt happen and the courts take their own sweet time. in case your lawyer is efficient, he would resort to the law and pursue the courts to pass orders within the time frame.
