Legal Question in Family Law in India

Thanks so much experts for ur anwers..this was my questn on 3/5/10 :- Hi, my friend's husband has deserted her & filed divorce...she wants to save the marriage...getting different opinions from different people..is it better to file for residence orders in shared household or an RCR ....i got the answer frm this forum to go for RCR, pls tell me :- is it necessary that RCR results in divorce if decree is in the other party's favor? also if she doesn't want to go in for litigation is there any other way out like filing any civil complaint in Women crime cell , husband's family refusing for any mediation being done between family members..
******how much time does it take to obtain residence orders or is it easy to get this..thnks Goel sir i wud need to assemble facts frm her n then will mail you
