Legal Question in Family Law in India

Family Property Dispute

My father has one brother and

cousin brother.The entire VRS

money he spent for his brother and

slowly as days went by he had to

look towards his brother for

expenses.Whilst the torture that

my father, fraternal uncle and his

cousin brother yielded to us(me

and my mom) right from my very

young childhood cannot be

described in words.

Even for my schooling or for our

food he did spend much.My

fraternal grandfather has left an

independent house as a property

and nominated my fathers cousins

mother as a guardian who have not

shown us the will till date.My father

has several times threatened us by

saying that he would give away all

property to his brother and till date

he has been doing all good things

to his brother and his family only.

I want to reclaim my father and the

share of our property as well.

We have suffered much in the last

twenty years to the extent that we

were thrown out in the street even

without food and my father is

totally brainwashed.

I would be greatful to you if you

could elicit whether justice will be

done reclaim property and the

provisions that the legal system

has? If so will it take ten full years

for justice to be delivered ?.

Re: Family Property Dispute

You have not worded your statement and question properly.

However, you may be entitled to your share in the ancestral property left by your grandfather.

Re: Family Property Dispute

Time cannot be estimated. Moreover if it is your father's self acquired property he can dispose it in the way he wants.
