You may initiate "execution proceedings" for recovery of the maintenance amount. In "execution proceedings" the income / property of your husband may be attached and he may even have to undergo civil imprisonment if payment is not made as per court directions.

under domestic violence act, in case the husband stops the payment of maintenance, he may be sent to jail and/or his property may be attached and he may also be declared a proclaimed offender in case he does not attend the hearings after that but the court would certainly take into consideration any genuine reasons put forth by the husband before initiating adverse proceedings.
