Legal Question in Family Law in India

Harrassment from parents

Hello;

I am a 24 year old female from India and residing in a foreign country on a student visa.I had to leave my parents who are abroad as well due to their ill treatment.They used to restrict me from having any freedom and I finally moved out with a false excuse.Now they want me to go back and are threatening me like anything each day.They have also contacted the people who help me and keep harassing them and warn that they would take them to task.In spite of several warnings,my parents still continue this torture.They are alleging me to have a relationship with the person who helps me with some assistance.I would like to know how to deal with this legally.Can I file a complaint against them in the Indian Embassy here or do I need to send a letter to the Indian Embassy in their country of residence?If not,should I proceed through an advocate in India?This would be difficult as both of us are in foreign countries.On what grounds can I file a complaint against them?Though I do not want to do it,I am being forced to do as I feel they are planning to trap me.Please let me know the options.Thanks a lot.

Re: Harrassment from parents

As I understand, you and your parents are living in different countries; they do not have access to you. and do not have any contact with you physically;

Please explain in what manner the harrasment being caused by them?

Please elaborate the kind of fear you have in your find from your parents ?

Also please write the countries you are in, the visa status of both parties; and other details. you may write all facts in a chronological order for appropriate guidance.
