Legal Question in Family Law in India

i have heard that In Mumbai ( Maharashtra ) it was manadatory to get a decree from Family court to confirm the talaq or khula obtained according to muslim personal law.? i got khula in MAY 2008.

I want to marry a hindu ,is my divorce ( khula ) final now? is there any legal hitch in marrying a hindu before obtaining the decree from the family court in Mumbai?

there is no harm in getting your khula authenticated by family court. you will have another document nullifying your earlier marriage and then you may go for second marriage.
