Legal Question in Family Law in India

hello,

I am married under the sharia(islam),my husband does not wish to live with me as he feels he is cheated about my health problems.He is put me out of his house and does not wish to take me back into his home.I stay with my parents now.He is forcing me to agree for a divorce.if i don agree,what is the consequences i face?Can i ask for maintenance?Even if i get maintainence as a muslim am i liable to get only for three months only?.I have left my job due to his pressure.Are Muslim women not allowed to get maintenance till she gets married to another one?

You may be entitled to maintenance till remarriage; besides, you may seek appropriate relief under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act.

yes you can get maintenance under DV Act and / or S125 Cr pc.
