Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hi,

I have filed a petition for divorce under U/s 27 Special Marriage Act. It is already One year and Seven months. But my wife has not submmited the counter to my petition. And she had filed the Interim Alimony petition as well as a petition for qushing my divorce petition. Her petition for quashing my divorce petition was rejected by the court and allow them to fight the case. On the other hand, four months back, the court had passed an order for the Interim Alimony. I have challanged this order in High court. Still my wife is not ready to submmit the counter to main petition. And opposing my writ petition at High court through a caveat petition.

My advocate (Lower court) also told me that they (My wife) will not submmit the counter untill the payment of Interim alimony.

Please suggest me a solution to speed up the divorce case.

unless the interim maintenance issue is decided, the court proceedings in the divorce case may not speed up. has the high court granted the stay of your case.
