Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am a Hindu man, married for 15 years. Due to employment constraints, I have been living apart from my wife for over a year now. With the employment situation stabilising, I have been asking my wife to move to my city of employment. However, she has been adamantly refusing to do so, citing innane reasons. She is very well aware that I am not financially equipped to maintain two establishments, but insists on me funding for her accommodation and other expenses, which constitute almost 80% of my income. I am the only earning member in the family. Am I legally equipped to compel her to move?

No. you may better not involve any legal proceeding in this matter. try to settle the matter amicably and avoid litigation. You have a 15 years of married life at stake. talk to her properly by comforting her;

litigation may worsen your situation in terms of expense, harassment and wastage of time. besides, the time taken cannot be determined.
