Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello, my in laws made my husband send me the divorce papers. They made my life miserable while I was with them. They are controlling and dominating. My husband also listens to them.They made him break all contacts with me. I don't want to divorce him. He is a british citizen and I am Indian. Marriage was done by hindu marriage act in India. Do I have any legal rights to get rid of his parents?

there is no legal right to get rid of parents rather you should try to win your husband's heart by taking care of his parents as your own. your problem is more social than legal. in case you cannot take care of the parents and your husband is not ready to accept you, you have an option to seek divorce, maintenance and alimony.

You don't want divorce then join your husband and lead your matrimonial life together. Further you can convince your husband for having a separate accomodation for you both only.
