Legal Question in Family Law in India

i have been married for 1year.after 2nd month of marriage my inlaws start demanding money in the name of house hold expenses. i m a working girl. they take my ATM cards .my husband was also indifferent to me and my requirement.he dont give me or spend on me even a single rupee and always demand money from me for his luxuries( parties , alcohols,telephone bills, car petroletc).he is workng in a MNC .whenever i ask him abt his job or sallary he always say i have nothng to give you.They even restricts me to spend my money on my basic need and also restricts in my official requirment(like hide my pancard when i have to submit in my office for some official reason.Even my mother in law scold me and abuses me every day for money and for dowry.after six months of my marriage the situation become worst and one day my mother in law slap me ,scold me and locked the door and say that his son will teach me a lesson at night . i got so scared that i have to call the police and my parents for help .in the police station they do the compromise and say they will talk about this after 3-4 days. but it is over 4 months and they have not shown any interest in it and whenever me or my parents try to call them they hardly take the call and if ever the pickup the phone they responde very rudely and say they dont want to talk regarding this matter and my mother in law say that she will not allow me to enter her house.now I am leaving with my parents for last 4 month and inlaws are not taking interest in taking me back. When I have came to my parents home after the police case I have just bring with me some clothes and all my remaining things are still there(gifts that my parents give,jewelry,in my marriage)

pls advice me how can I proceed for divorce in mutual as usual as possible but they are not at all replying to anything?

You should pursue a criminal complaint against them u/ss 406/498-A IPC and also claim damages under D.V.A.

divorce by mutual consent is possible only when they also have the same mind set to settle the matter. you need to wait for the right time.
