Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello Sir / Madam,

My name is Ankit Gupta and I am a MBA in Marketing and post graduate diploma holder in finance and I m working with a media group as a marketing executive. I am in love affair with some and i wanted to get marry with her. The problem is her parents are money minded and currently i am geeting 25000 per month and her parent's expectations are atleast 60000. This is the starting of my career and i know in next one year i can easily earn this amount.

Now her parents are looking groom for her and they already like someone for just for his financial position. My firends does not like him at all as his looks r really bad.

now they are forcing my girl friend to get marry with this guy...

For this reason i am planning to go for court marriage or Arya samaj mandir marriage.

My Question to you guys is

What will be the consequences if i go for court marriage and latter if might girl refused ?

What precautionary step i need to take before going for court marriage in respect to her family so that they can't bother us?

Presuming you and your GF are majors. Whether the girl is ready for marriage with you is your personal issue. If the girl is ready for marriage, go for a Court marriage and after your marriage, ask your gf/wife to give a STATEMENT AND letter to the police station where SHE lives and you live that she married you by her own free will and there was no force from your side. Also, attach your marriage certificate along with the letter.

As suggested by my learned collegue` you may go for court marriage for which you will have to give 30 days notice. Here any three persons can be witness. Other option is to get married in Arya Samaj and register your marriage with the Registrar marriages. In this option, you need a gazetted officer as a witness in the office of registrar. This process does not take more than 3 days and no notice is required. Arya Samaj normally would take the affidavit and if you have made a video in which girl is happy she cannot claim that there was pressure. Another option is for you and girl to talk to girl's parents and try once again to bring home the point of your salary a year from now.
