Legal Question in Family Law in India

Sir/Madam,

I Zohair Khan 23 years old , want to study BSc Applied Psychology at Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, Scotland but my father refuses to give the money for it.

Please advise any legal way/procedure to obtain money for education from my father.

in case the education expense is beyond the financial capacity of your father, you cannot compel him through court order. but if he is a man of means and can easily afford your education, you may go for the appropriate order u/s 125 of crpc. as per the latest ruling, the father is bound to maintain the education expense even of his major children, in case he can afford it.

There is no way you can compel your father to shell out any money for anything as you are an adult and are expected to look after yourself. The opinion given herein above is a cock and bull story without any basis. There is no judgement compelling father to give money to an ADULT/MAJOR son by any court.
