Does wife have any right in the property of the husband which he accquired from his father (basically my father-in-law)

the wife only has a right to residence in the property but she cannot call for partition till her husband is alive. the children certainly have right in the property r and she can call for partition thorugh her children.

If you are living with your husband then you can claim right to reside but if there is some dispute but not divorced then share from husband propety, but if divorced then only claim of maintenance. Plz provide detail

Yes, she may seek a "charge" against the property for her maintenance.
