Legal Question in Civil Litigation in India
My father expired last month without executing any will leaving behind properties. we are three childern, myself elder,one sister and younger brother all are aged above 40yrs. A registered relinquishing deed was got executed from me by my father infavour of himself,my sister and m brother before sending to my inlaws. No details of properties mentioned in deed except foregoing " legal inheritence rights". Now do I have share in my fathers self acquired properties as he has not executed any will. The points to mention
a) Relinquishing deed does not mention details of properties and stamp duty is vogue
b) is deed legally acceptable as i was not really in position of any of those properties
c) Female sucession right act come into existence in 2005
d) what about properties acquired subsequent to execution of deed
