Legal Question in Immigration Law in India
I have H1b filed by a big organisation.Now i am trying to tranfer the H1b to another organisation.But my first organisation is threating me that they will sue me or i have to pay 10000$ and handover the petition.
Is it legal right for a company to sue or colect 10000$ dollars for a petition.

it depends as to what sort of agreement of employment that you entered into with the employer. in case your transfer of visa to other organization is barred as per the agreement, they can cause trouble and in case there is no such clause restraining the transfer, u a free man. do send in the copy of agreement.

Both the issues are separate and independent. H1B has to be sponsored by an employer only.
