Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

i want to know about deemed ownership since i've been living on rent for past 50 years and so i would like to know if i am to be cosidered as a deemed owner of the rented house ...i have also read in an article of supreme court year 2011 in which it declared that the tenant cant be evicted for atleast 5 years if the rent has been upto date actually i just want to confirm if it applies on me bcoz there has not been any lease agreement between me and landlord since the time period i am living in the rented house.

To be very frank my friend although you can not be declared to be a deemed owner, but yes your claim can be said to be strong for living if rent is up to date, and the Land Lord can not charge on this ground.

But yes if he files a case on his need then its totally another thing, and further it is to say that it requires a detailed discussion for a brief answer to your query.
