Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India

Landlord-Tenant Issues

Even after regular payment of rent and electricity bills, etc., My landlord is pressurzing me to vacate the premises by harrassing through his relatives. Is this illegal? Is there any law which can provide me protection from harrassment? Of note, there was no formal agreement or rent deed made when we shifted at his premises about 2-1/2 years back.
