Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I am living with my girlfriend in a rented flat for past 3 months. I have told the LandLord that we are married, while we are not. Recently he got suspicious and asked me if I am married or going to get married. I said I am married...
He said if not don't keep the girl with you because you can face police actions and people are behind bars for long time. I can't even tell him the truth and very scared. Please suggest me what could be the legal actions faced by me. I also don't want to face any legal actions.
I can't ask my Girlfriend to move out as the Landlord would get sure that we are not married. What should i do. Please suggest??
