If you have a third party insurance coverage policy in place, your insurance company has to assess the damage and repair cost and pay for the expenses of the repair cost of that vehicle. The amount the insurance company will incur depends on the value of the policy. The balance over and above the insurance company repair cost reimbursement will have to be borne by you.
