Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am 32 Years Married female with one married sister & three brothers.My father has purchased property to the name of my mother.But now, my mother wanted to share the property only with 4 portion.One for self & father + three equal proportion for 3 brothers.No share for the two daughters .Do we two sister have legal right on the property ? How much share we can get?

It is self acquired property of your mother. She can Will or Gift her property to anyone. You sisters have no share or right in her property but if she dies intestate then you become 1/6th share holder in her property and not otherwise.

in case you father purchased the property in the name of your mother out of joint family funds and not after the partition of joint family, you may seek equal right qua your brothers.
