Benami transaction act came into force 1988.what was the provision before this act? Was it permtted under any other act/rule etc.? whether in joint-big(11)-family grew from practically no financial resources at disposal after sudden-earlyage death of father in49 all family needs were met from COMMAN-POOL.;including immovable prptys purchased in the name of diff.male family members with no written evidence(yr.62; 66; 70)/family agrmnt can be treated as BENAMI? This situation has propped-up after the death of my bro.who has his heirs but has nominated me&I m acting as TRUSTEE. Heirs not staying in prpty standing in their fths name but at other bro.s prpty. Give legal-.opinion. all proptys are ownership.
