Dear sir

I would like to know , Can a person having POWER of ATTORNY become secretary of the Co Op Hsg Society?

The question put up by you is incorrect. I dont find any connection between the two....POA and Secretary. If we take meaning of POA as a document of transfer, then byelaws of society shall have to be referred.

NO According to byelaws of the society and co-op act a secretary has to be elected at the election in Annual General Meeting or Extra Ordinary General Meeting by the members.POA can only give some powers to a person.

No. The members of the registered Society only can appoint a Committee.

Members of Society alone are entitled to be elected/appointed on the Managing Committee.
