Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have a flat at nagpur which I m going to sell. The buyer's bank asking for previous ownership and transfer of property through various hands and till the present builder, related docs which is not with me but the builder. The builder, in the name of society asking for 1.5% of sale value. Though the builder showed all the related paper on the basis of which the lender bank agreed to finance the property and released the cheque but now asking for copies of all such transfer of prop related docs. Pl advise if these docs are indeed required despite the facts that these details already availabe on my sale deed, NIT and city survey mutation docs. Pl guide
