i have a land in the name of my father's maternal grand father & grand father had two child. one son & one daughter. the son had not married & the daughter has only one son i.e. my papa. In this case can the land on my father's name.

Yes you have to establish the same with relevant documents as death and legal heirship certificate to prove the same.
