Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Non-supply of electricity to the flat

I have purchased one flat in ratnagiri in the maharashtra and have registered in my name. In the meanwhile the builder has gone into liquidation and we have to arrange our own electricity meter, which mseb is refusing to give citing that the builder has not submitted plan etc. If govt.Has registered the flat how is it possible that builder has not submitted. Can we take mseb to the court for not supplying me meter and / electricity.

Who is best lawyer at ratnagiri, maharashtra to contact.

Regards

Re: Non-supply of electricity to the flat

MSEB is bound to install electricity meter.I suggest that you file a complaint in the District Consumer forum at Ratnagiri against the MSEB and claim compensation from them.I can send you the name of a lawyer in Ratnagiri if you can send me your e-mail id.

Re: Non-supply of electricity to the flat

Please obtain a copy of the sanctioned plan from the Corporation who gave the sanction to build the flats, some expenses have to be borne, and then submit the same even though the builder has gone into liquidation does not matter as the flat is registered.

please check whether you have received the plan of the flat with you or see if an association is formed, or go to the society and obtain the plan, in the alternative you have to engage an architect and get the plan drawn and submit, or find out from the MSEB whether your architect can give the plan and act accordingly,

Engage a local advocate to obtain the copy from the sanctioning authority he will know how to obtain the sanction plan.

Thank you
