property signature
we stay in a house at kerala which the property is in the name of uncle. Now our uncle is ready to give the property to us at a nominal rate but he is at Bangalore and cannot travel due to his old age problems. How can we get his singature in agrement papers. Pls advise.

you can get a power of attorney executed in favour of you or someone to get the sale deed executed! power of attorney can be executed in bangalore even if the property is in kerala

You uncle can execute and register a Power of Attorney at Banglore for completing transaction in Kerala. Please check Kerala State law concerning stamp duty on power of attorney executed in other state and brought in Kerala state.

you merely have to obtain a power of attorney from him in favour of someone you trust authorising the said person to execute the documents of transfer in your favour and thereafter the said person can transfer the property in your favour at Kerala.

You can get power of attorney executed and notarized by your uncle at banglore in name of any person of your family, and then such person can execute sale deed in name of your uncle.
