Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

real estate

I purchased a panchayat layout plot in A.P.,Hyderabad. Before purchase we have given paper ad to public any objection about the plot to consult with in one month but no objection raised by any body and we hv registered the plot also taking all the documents from the seller and signatures of all the family people. After some days we found that on the complete venture not only my plot total 400 plots there is a case in the court but for construction of house there is no objection all permission are comming one or two housed also constructed in the same venture with bank loans. But I am having fear about this so shall I suit case against the seller who sold the land to me. Mentioning that he has not intimated about the case before selling the plot. And also return the amount which i have given and re- register the plot again on their name both registration charges (which i paid while registed on my nam )to be paid by the seller. When I asked the seller about this case he is telling that he doesn't know about the court case because thier father purchased the plot long back and gifted her after that she doesn't know what is going there bcz they want to sell the plot. So they hv not visited the plot area.
