Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I have rented house in 2010 in Mumbai for peroid of two years. During that time I got the house through broker and paid him Rs. 21,000 towards brokerage in total

Now I want to renew the rent agreement for another two years and my flat-owner is ready to renew the agreement without the involvement of brokER.

Am I compelled to pay the broker the brokerage this time also and if not what remedy to stop him if he is irritating us?

the broker has no locus to impose himself in renewal of the lease. in case he bothers you, you may seek injunction against him.
