Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Sir/mam,

My friend is advising me to purchase a flat which costs 9 lakh Rupees, but i do not have that much of funds. He is saying the flat would be registered on both of our names and you have to contribute only 4.5 lakhs. But for that amount i have to approach a bank for loan. My age is 25 and i have recently completed my master degree in last year. This is the starting of my career. Is it safe for me to apply for a bank home loan for purchasing a flat on partnership basis. Please advice me.

It is not advisable to buy any property in partnership for various reason(s).
