I would like to know the statutory requirements for starting a play school/day care centre in navi mumbai.
1) is that a shop & establishment registration mandatory? if yes where and how can i have it done.
2) Service tax registration mandatory ?
3) if any other requirements, pl indicate.

Contact a C.A. who will assist you for obtaining Service Tax Registration; you also require to obtain permission from education department.
