I'm an Indian. I'll earn approx 1000$ per month from an American website via electronic transfer. I wanna know the legal Taxation Rules of transfering the money to my Indian account.

Please elaborate as to what kind of services are you going to provide to the American website.
As far as income tax in concerned you will be taxed in India as per the normal slab rate on the income received from US. But If the services rendered by you comes under any service head , then it has to be determined whether its an export of service provided from India and received outside India. Service Tax angle needs to be analyzed .
