Rules for Excise registration
Respected Sir,
I am a authorized dealer for a few companies. My clients want that i should issue them a excise gate-pass. So i will have to register myself with Excise Department. I would like you to guide me, how can i get myself registered with excise department? what are the benifets & drawbacks of it? & what will i have to do after registration?

Dear Sir,
you are required to take excise registration under the Central Excise Act, 1944 for issuing Excise invoice. for this purpose you are required to submit an application in the format prescribed in by the Act.
