Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My Father had made a Registered will a few years ago. Just before he expeired we found a new will which was made my him. But unfortunately this will is not Regestered.

As per the Law the last will made by an individual should be valid.

Does it make a difference if the new will is not Registered ?

The new will has fulfiled all the necessary requirments of a valid will including signature of witnesses & also an afidevit duely notrised has been attached to the new will.

pls advice.

Just to make sure everything is fine then go for Probation of a will and let the court decide about which will is going to be the genuine one.
