Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in India

My great grandfather has earned a lot of property on his own and he passed away without writing any WILL for his sons and daughters. My grandmother has filed a case for a claim in my great grandfather's property which is still in progress in a court. She has 5 daughters and 3 sons. She has also passed away but written

a WILL mentioning one of her son as legal heir for the property which she might get in case she wins the case. Whether the WILL written by her is valid?

Whether the other 7 sibblings of my grandmother have right to claim share in that property?

Note: Grandmother had earlier written a WILL of different wish stating some percentage's to her sibblings. Later the son wrote a fresh WILL without the knowledge of other siblings making him the legal heir to claim the property in her dying days.

Please clarify
